organizing spices




My new apartment here isn't very big and I'm sort of limited on my counter space so I try to do my best to reduce the clutter, especially in the kitchen. My spices were all over the place in all different types of packaging for the last two months so I switched them out. I bought little metal tins at Marshalls a few years back (thinking I would use them for scrapbooking supplies) and decided to use them to house all of my most frequently used spices. I washed all of the containers, dried them overnight and labeled the lids with permanent marker as I filled each one (so I wouldn't get them mixed up). I left a few blank for when I mix spices (I'm obsessed with this recipe) or have spices left over from other meals. Super easy and looks way better in my kitchen too!

  1. Great idea Jenn! Esp about also storing mixes of spices you make later on, I will keep that in mind.
